How Do I Factory Reset TruAge Verifier

This article explains how to enter Recovery Mode and complete a factory reset on the following devices: IPDA086, IPDA088, and IPDA083. 

⚠️ Warning: A factory reset will erase all user data, settings, and installed applications. Ensure all important data is backed up before proceeding.

Steps to Enter Recovery Mode

1. Use Key Combination

  1. Press and hold Power + Volume‑Down (–) at the same time.
  2. You will feel a vibration.
  3. Release the Power button while continuing to hold Volume‑Down.
  4. The device will enter Bootloader Mode.

2. Select Recovery Mode

  1. Use the Volume keys to scroll.
  2. Highlight Recovery Mode.
  3. Press the Power button to confirm.

3. Access Android Recovery

After selecting Recovery Mode, you will see an Android robot lying down with the message “No command.”

To continue:

  1. Press and hold the Power button.
  2. After 1 second, press Volume‑Up (+).
  3. Release Volume‑Up immediately, while continuing to hold Power.
  4. You will now enter the Android Recovery Menu.

4. Perform Factory Reset

  1. Use the Volume keys to select Wipe data / Factory reset.
  2. Press Power to confirm.
  3. When complete, select Reboot system now.
